Dean of Academic Affairs’ Fund for Student Academic Activities

The Office of the Dean of Academic Affairs is committed to supporting students in their pursuit of academic excellence and professional development. To this end, we are pleased to introduce the Dean of Academic Affairs’ Fund for Student Academic Activities. The Dean’s office has set aside a budget of 5,000 EUR per academic year for this project.  

Who Can Apply 

Priority will be given to students who are presenting scholarly work at conferences. However, all requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis, so if you are participating in other academic activities, you are encouraged you to apply.

What the Fund Covers

Eligible students can be reimbursed up to 500 EUR upon submission of valid receipts. The fund covers a range of expenses, including:

  • Air, Bus and Train Fares: Costs associated with travel to and from the intended location.
  • Accommodation: Lodging expenses for the duration of the conference or event.

Please note that expenses for meals and taxis are not covered by the fund.

How to Apply

To apply for reimbursement, please follow these steps:

  • Prepare Your Application: Ensure that you have all necessary documents, including proof of participation in the academic activity and a brief description of the activity and its relevance to your academic goals.
  • Submit Your Application: Send your application to the Office of the Dean of Academic Affairs by emailing [email protected]
  • Review Process: Your application will be reviewed, and you will be notified of the decision.
  • Bring Your Receipts: Ensure to collect and retain all relevant receipts. You can send them by email to the address above or bring them to the Faculty Support Office upon your return.
