John Cabot University: the Academic Experience

Math Tutoring Center

The purpose of the Math Tutoring Center is to provide academic support in quantitative subjects to all students enrolled at John Cabot University. Our goal is to create an open atmosphere of learning for students who would like to improve their skills in mathematics as well as assist students in specific courses at the University (such as mathematics, statistics, economics, and finance).

The Tutoring Center, located in the Critelli Annex (Critelli Campus) is supervised by a faculty tutor, Prof. Margaret Kneller, and supported by degree-seeking student tutors.

Students may schedule an appointment by clicking on the button below. They are kindly requested to provide precise detail about the topic they need help with. Students book appointments in half-hour time slots. Please limit appointments to one hour per week.

Students may also receive help, walk-in (no appointment), if the tutor is available.

Remote tutoring may be done via Microsoft Teams:  students should specify, when making the appointment, that remote tutoring is needed.

Please note that there is no math tutoring during Summer sessions.

Students should come to their appointment well prepared. They should bring any relevant assignment guidelines and be ready to explain to the tutor the assistance they need.

Students are also reminded to arrive on time for their appointments. If they are late, they might lose their appointment to another student who arrives in the meantime.
