John Cabot University: the Academic Experience

Math Tutoring Center

The purpose of the Math Tutoring Center is to provide academic support in quantitative subjects to all students enrolled at John Cabot University. Our goal is to create an open atmosphere of learning for students who would like to improve their skills in mathematics as well as assist students in specific courses at the University (such as mathematics, statistics, economics, and finance).

The Tutoring Center, which is located on the first floor of the Frohring campus for the academic year 2023 to 2024, is supervised by a faculty tutor, Prof. Margaret Kneller, and supported by degree-seeking student tutors.

Students may schedule an appointment by clicking on the button below. Tutoring will commence by the third week of classes, when the link will be activated. Students are kindly requested to provide precise detail about the topic they need help with. Students book appointments in half-hour time slots. Please limit appointments to one hour per week.

Students may also receive help, walk-in (no appointment), if the tutor is available.

Please note that there is no math tutoring during Summer sessions.

Students should come to their appointment well prepared. They should bring any relevant assignment guidelines and be ready to explain to the tutor the assistance they need.

Students are also reminded to arrive on time for their appointments. If they are late, they might lose their appointment to another student who arrives in the meantime.
