Welcome to John Cabot University's Advising and Academic Success Program,

Our mission is to provide the academic support needed to maximize your educational pursuits at JCU. Open to both degree-seeking and visiting or study abroad students, the AASP assists through individual or small group advising and sets up presentations or workshops aimed at developing the most important learning skills. In order to best assist you, the AASP team includes the University’s Tutoring Centers (Math, English, and Foreign Language), the Counseling Services and the Library. Need to improve your English, Foreign language or Math skills?

You may attend any of the tutoring centers in English, Math, Italian, Spanish, French, and German (free of charge) and learn how to improve your performance in individual or group tutoring, even working on-line if necessary. The centers also set up useful workshops every semester, open to all students.

How can JCU's Library assist you?

The Frohring Library staff can guide you in your search to find the most reliable sources whether - books, periodicals, or electronic databases. The Library Portal, also accessible off campus, contains general information, allowing you to search books and audiovisual items and to access on-line documents and reference tools from its rich collection of databases.

Do you need to talk to someone?

John Cabot University’s Counseling Services provide assistance for students experiencing problems that could interfere with their wellbeing or academic performance. The Counseling Service is free and confidential for all JCU students. The office is located in the Gianicolo Residence, Scala B, Vicolo della Penitenza, 26.

The Advising and Academics Success Program team 

The Academic Success team at JCU consists of the Coordinator of Academic Advising, the Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs, the individual coordinators for the English, Math, and Foreign Language Tutoring Centers, the Counselors, and the Library staff. The ASP Team works with other members of the JCU faculty, staff, and Student Government to provide academic support programs for the JCU student population. We are:
