Grassroots Clean Ups

Grassroots organizes clean ups of the Trastevere area, around the Guarini and Tiber campuses, and in other areas of Rome.

Previously, Grassroots has collaborated with Retake Roma, a national nonprofit organization of volunteers who meet in Rome to eliminate trash, erase offensive graffiti, and take care of those monuments that have been defaced. Grassroots has also collaborated with AMA, a local trash collecting agency, and Bioversity International for a clean up of Parco della Caffarella.

Students who participate in clean ups may count these hours towards a Certificate of Participation from the Community Service Program.
