Complete the Merit-Based Scholarship Application. The JCU Scholarship Committee will review the application for all eligible merit-based scholarships and award the one with the highest value. Only one merit-based scholarship will be granted, and applicants will be notified upon acceptance to JCU.
The Global Explorer Scholarship is a prestigious and highly competitive award that covers full tuition and is granted to up to three exceptional students in each incoming fall class.

The Presidential Transfer Full Scholarship, covering full tuition, is awarded to one transfer student each Spring based on academic excellence, a strong personal statement, recommendations, test scores, and extracurriculars.

The Dean's List Scholarship recognizes outstanding academic achievement among current JCU students who have made the Dean's List. To qualify, students must achieve a minimum GPA of 3.50 in a semester with at least 13 completed semester hours within a JCU program.
Eligibility & Award
To be eligible, students must be on the Dean's List. The scholarship awards $1,000 or €1,000 for students not receiving any JCU-funded merit-based scholarships, and $200 or €200 for those who do receive JCU-funded merit scholarships or certain discounts (such as the Italian Development Initiative Discount). This award can be received multiple times.
The Dean's List Scholarship is not a cash award; instead, it is a reduction applied to tuition in a subsequent regular semester (Fall or Spring) after the Dean's List designation. Students who graduate or are named to the Dean's List after their final semester are ineligible. This award does not apply to summer sessions. Additionally, students already receiving a full tuition scholarship, those dual enrolled at John Cabot University and Università degli Studi di Milano, and non-matriculated students are ineligible for the JCU Dean's List Scholarship.
Certain JCU awards apply to summer sessions and are prorated based on registered credits, according to the chart below. Once registered for summer classes, these scholarships are automatically credited to the student’s JCU account.

The Secchia Family Foundation's Secchia Scholars program awards partial tuition scholarships each year to qualifying students.
The Columbus Citizens Foundation's College Scholarship Program awards four-year scholarship that helps underwrite the cost of tuition. The scholarship provide generous assistance towards tuition but will not cover payment for all school costs.

Through the Sons of Italy Foundation (SIF), the Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America (OSDIA) offers scholarships ranging from $4,000 to $25,000 every year.
U.S. citizens of Italian descent enrolled in a four-year undergraduate program or a graduate program at an accredited academic institution are eligible to apply for the General Study Scholarship.
U.S. citizens of Italian descent in their senior year of high school and planning to attend an undergraduate program at a four-year, accredited academic institution are eligible to apply for the Henry Salvatori Scholarship.
U.S. citizens of Italian descent in their junior or senior year of undergraduate study, majoring or minoring in Italian language studies at an accredited academic institution.

John Cabot University offers special discounts for American Overseas School of Rome (AOSR) graduates who are accepted at JCU. The AOSR Discount offers 25% off tuition for any AOSR graduate accepted at JCU.
John Cabot University is proud to announce that we have entered into an articulation agreement with Union County College located in Elizabeth, New Jersey, USA. The agreement provides seamless transfer for Union County College associate-degree graduates to begin studying John Cabot University. John Cabot University offers full tuition scholarships for one Union County College graduate every year.
