Veteran & Military Family Education Benefits

John Cabot University welcomes U.S. Veterans and dependents of Veterans! We are grateful to you and your family for your military service and are committed to providing the support you need to study abroad or earn a degree from a U.S.-accredited* university in Rome, Italy.

The Office of Financial Aid is proud to certify enrollment for degree-seeking and study abroad students who are eligible to receive VA benefits. Veteran education benefit programs may grant students tuition and fee payments as well as a monthly housing allowance, and a book/supplies stipend.

The U.S. Department of Education has listed all of John Cabot University's degree programs (Associate of Arts, Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts) as approved training for Veteran Education Benefits.

JCU certifies VA Benefits for visiting students. To take advantage of your VA Benefits while studying abroad at JCU, please send your Certificate of Eligibility and a “primary school letter” from your home institution to [email protected].

John Cabot University will not impose any penalty, including the assessment of late fees, the denial of access to classes, libraries, or other institutional facilities, or the requirement that a covered individual borrow additional funds, on any covered individual because of the individual's inability to meet his or her financial obligations to the institution due to the delayed disbursement funding from VA under chapter 30, 31 or 33.
