Alumni have lifetime access to JCU’s Career Services. Career counselors are available for both in-person and virtual appointments, providing guidance on a wide range of professional development topics. Alumni may also attend Career Services events. Alumni are valued members of the John Cabot University community and are welcome to engage with designated campus resources in a manner that respects the needs and priorities of current students.
John Cabot University alumni are welcome to visit campus. To access campus facilities, alumni must present a valid JCU Alumni ID Card issued by the Alumni Office and notify the office in advance of their visit by emailing [email protected].
After contacting [email protected], alumni may access the Frohring Library by showing their ID at the Guarini Front Office. They will receive a Library Pass that will guarantee on campus access to all Library facilities and resources.
We advise alumni to check in advance the Library Opening Hours, as they are subject to changes during breaks and summer sessions. The Library is not open to Alumni during Mid-Term and Final Exams in both Fall and Spring sessions.
Participation in JCU sports teams is limited to up to two alumni per semester, and to alumni who graduated no more than three years prior to the start of the semester. Alumni wishing to participate must try out alongside JCU students and are subject to approval by the Athletics Director or designated coach.

Catalina Zaza is originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, and was part of JCU’s first cohort of the MA in International Affairs. During her studies, she interned with the World Food Program, gaining experience in program coordination and stakeholder engagement. She now works at CIEE’s Rome headquarters as an Academic and Program Coordinator, supporting educational opportunities and funding for international students.
Dr. Wei Chen graduated from John Cabot University in 2014 and went on to earn degrees from the London School of Economics and Political Science, Peking University’s Yenching Academy, and Peking University’s School of International Studies. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Wenzhou-Kean University in China. His career spans academia, diplomacy, international organizations, and media, with research focusing on China’s public diplomacy, Sino-EU relations, the Chinese diaspora, and cross-Strait relations.
Alessandro Di Paola studied International Business at John Cabot University from 2018 to 2020. After gaining experience in real estate and hospitality, he has built his career in hotel development and operations. Alessandro is now based in Milan, where he works with Lungarno Collection, supporting the development and growth of the Portrait Hotels brand and its vision of Italian hospitality excellence.
Francesco Albano graduated with a double degree in International Business and International Affairs from JCU. He served as President of JCUMUN Society, President of Grassroots Club and Secretary of Student Government. He also worked as an Immigration Team Leader for two years. He is currently pursuing his MA in International Management in Bologna.
Anastasiia Shmatina is from Kyiv, Ukraine, and came to JCU to study Business Administration with a minor in Marketing. After finding an internship at Messagenius through the JCU Career Fair, she quickly advanced from Business Developer to full-time Marketing Manager.
David Simpson is a 2024 International Business graduate with experience living and working in Italy, Portugal, and the United States. Based in Rome, he works in business development, digital marketing, and entrepreneurship. David enjoys helping JCU students make the most of their experience in Rome and beyond the classroom.
Azelya Terzi graduated from JCU in 2019 with a BA in Communications and a minor in Business Administration. Azelya has coordinated more than 300 university events as Events Manager. Originally from Istanbul and based in Rome, she is passionate about connecting people across cultures and strengthening JCU’s global alumni community.
Letizia La Sorte holds a double degree in International Affairs and Psychological Science . She began her career in Sweden, progressing from Marketing Manager to Marketing Director at a supplement company, before transitioning into the sustainability sector. She is currently living in Madrid, where she works as a Product Marketing Manager, collaborating with major brands to develop products that support more sustainable supply chains.
Ramzi Baramki is a seasoned executive and investor whose professional journey spans broadcast media leadership, real estate, and a keen focus on digital transformation. He graduated from JCU with a BA in Business Administration. Ramzi is passionate about exploring how technology reshapes industries. He is excited to serve as a university ambassador and encourages fellow students and professionals to connect and exchange ideas.
Brontë Delmonico is a communications and research professional focused on gender equity, media, and global women’s health, with a BA in Communications. During her time at JCU, Brontë served as President of the Women’s Leadership Initiative and as an editor and contributor for The Matthew student newspaper. She is now based in London as Founder’s Associate at Women’s Health Horizons.
Emma Saul studied Communications and International Affairs, focusing on sustainability and environmental studies. During her time at JCU, she held two board positions with the Women’s Leadership Initiative and volunteered with the European Institute of Innovation for Sustainability (EIIS). Emma is now based in London, where she works as Global Strategic Partnerships Manager at Women’s Health Horizons, building partnerships and connecting stakeholders to advance women’s health through events and digital initiatives.
Pedro Vazquez is an accomplished Real Estate Executive with over a decade of experience in commercial real estate strategy and execution. He studied International Business abroad at John Cabot University in Rome in 2003, gaining a global perspective early in his career. Currently serving as Director of Real Estate at Guitar Center, Inc., Pedro leads national site selection, relocations, lease renewals, and portfolio optimization for one of the largest music instrument retailers in the US.
Alison Ladd is an art historian and researcher with a focus on community-building and institutional engagement. She holds a BA in Art History from John Cabot University, with minors in Humanistic Studies and Art & Design. During her time at JCU, Alison served as a Student Ambassador, Department of Art History Student Representative, and Head Curator of the JCU Art History Society. She is currently a fellow at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice and plans to pursue a PhD in art history.
Matthew Miles graduated from John Cabot University in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Classical Studies and minors in History and Art History. Based in Worcester, Massachusetts, he currently works as a Humanities Teacher at Christa McAuliffe Charter School, sharing his passion for the humanities with the next generation.
Gianluca Pesce transferred to JCU in 2007 and graduated in 2009 with a BA in International Affairs. For the past decade, he has been working for Yolk restaurants as the Director of Marketing & Communications.
Alessandro Cretella studied at John Cabot University from 2011 to 2015 and has built a career in marketing, partnerships, and sports entertainment. He currently works as Partnerships Marketing Manager at Sorrento Calcio 1945, supporting sponsorships, brand collaborations, events, and initiatives focused on fan engagement and the club’s international growth.
Valentina De Santis is a 2016 graduate from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut. She double majored in Communication Studies and Media Arts and minored in Fashion Marketing. She studied abroad at John Cabot University from August 2014 to May 2015. Now, she is working full-time in New York City.
Carolina Granaci graduated from John Cabot University in 2023 with a BA in International Business and minors in Marketing and Communications. Originally from Rome, she currently lives in New York City, where she completed a master’s in Technology Management at Columbia University. With experience in marketing across the startup and e-commerce sectors, Carolina supports brands as they grow and expand into new markets.
Andrew Nelson graduated from JCU with a BA in Art History. He is an advancement operations and data strategy professional with extensive experience in fundraising and nonprofit development. Andrew has held leadership roles at the University of North Carolina Asheville, Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College, and Asheville Area Arts Council. Andrew brings expertise in advancement services, development strategy, and financial management, with a focus on using systems and data to drive philanthropy.
Courtney Smith graduated from John Cabot University in 2023 with a BA in International Affairs and minors in Legal Studies and Communications. During her time at JCU, she served as Student Government president and was actively involved in the university community. Courtney is now based in Washington, DC, where she graduated from Johns Hopkins SAIS. She looks forward to connecting with fellow JCU alumni and helping the DC alumni community grow.
