Department of Business Administration
Welcome to the Department of Business Administration at John Cabot University in Rome,
where academic excellence and international business experience are brought together
to prepare tomorrow's socially responsible business leaders. Our location in Rome
allows students to take advantage of the presence of the not-for-profit frameworks
of the United Nations and other non-governmental agencies to develop a broader understanding
of the importance and meaning of business know-how.
Our faculty members are successful business people, entrepreneurs and scholars who have prepared for their careers at the world's most prestigious universities (including U.C. Berkeley, Harvard, London Business School, LUISS, and Oxford). Collectively, we come from and have worked in the Americas, Europe and Asia, in a wide range of industries and managerial positions. We strive to bring this diverse, international experience into the classroom, punctuating business theory with real life, hands-on experience. An average class size of 15:1 enables us to pursue our student-centered learning philosophy and encourage individual growth and group interaction—the wide variety of teaching methods we use includes case studies, simulations, special projects, and more.
Our students are dynamic, talented people from Italy, the United States, and 70+ other countries, who thoroughly enjoy the challenges and rewards of studying in a highly diverse setting where they work with peers from different cultures, religions, and approaches. When students leave John Cabot, they are ready to start their careers at prestigious institutions or to pursue further education in graduate programs, for instance, at the London School of Economics, Imperial College London, Cass Business School, HEC Paris, ESCP Business School, Grenoble École de Management, MIP Politecnico di Milano, Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, Copenhagen Business School, Stockholm Business School, Yonsei University, and Purdue University, among others.
We offer Bachelor of Arts degrees in Business Administration, International Business, and Marketing, as well as minors in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, and Marketing.
