We offer generous scholarships, including those for transfer students. Our Advanced Placement (AP) policy provides three credits for each AP exam scored 4 or higher, while our International Baccalaureate (IB) policy awards up to six credits for Higher Level courses and three for Standard Level courses, allowing you to jump right into your studies.

Transfer Credit Evaluation

Complete the transfer credit evaluation form and submit your transcripts to ensure your coursework and credits from other colleges or universities will transfer to JCU. To request a preliminary evaluation, upload your unofficial transcripts and a list of completed courses. You are also welcome to include Advanced Placement (AP) and/or International Baccalaureate (IB) test results.

Information About Applying

Ready to make Rome your classroom? Begin in either January or September. We're excited to review your application!

Please note that transfer students must meet the same application requirements as other applicants, with a few differences. Here's what you'll need:

  • Letter of Recommendation: Only one letter is required for transfer students.
  • College Credits: If you have fewer than 45 college credits, we'll also need your high school transcripts and may ask for SAT or ACT scores.
  • Apply Online: You can apply easily through our Online Application or the Common Application.
