Dichiarazione di Valore

How to Request an Apostille

Requesting an Apostille from the Delaware Secretary of State's Office

In order for the Dichiarazione di Valore to be processed, you must request an Apostille, which is issued through the Secretary of State's Office. In order to request the Apostille, you must  send the following documentation to the Office of the Registrar:

1. Original Diploma

2. Original Official Transcripts issued by the Registrar’s Office. To request an official transcript, please follow the instructions here. You are not required to request express shipping of transcripts as they are issued internally and will be used for the purpose of the Apostille.

3. $30 for the Apostille on both degree and transcripts. Payments will be processed by the Secretary of State. The following method of payment is accepted:

  • Credit card: Visa, MasterCard and Discover cards are accepted. Please provide card account number, CVV2 (this is the 3 or 4 digit security number on the back of the card), name/address of cardholder, expiration date.

The above documentation should be accompanied by a cover letter in which you specify your name, return address, email address, and phone number (in case they need to contact you for clarifications). Your credit card information should also be specified in the cover letter.

Your documents and the cover letter must be sent to:
John Cabot University
Via della Lungara 233
00165 Rome, Italy
Email: [email protected]

The Office of the Registrar will send the documentation to the Secretary of State and will then return the documents to you with the Apostilles (all shipping with UPS or FEDEX to ensure safe and fast delivery of the documents). If you are not planning to use the Apostille to request a Declaration of Value then you will be responsible for the UPS/FEDEX return shipping fee.

Please note that John Cabot University is not responsible for any delays in the issuing of the documents, nor can we solicit said documentation. You are required to check your email for any communication from the issuing bodies and to reply in a timely manner.
