Ananya Shirodkar is a junior student visiting JCU from Rutgers University in New Jersey, where she’s majoring in Journalism and minoring in Communications. She is attending JCU for a full academic year and interned with the Web Communications office for her first semester abroad.

Duncan is a freshman at the University of Delaware who spent his first semester at JCU as a study abroad student. He is a Fashion Design and Innovation major with a new-found passion for traveling.
Desiree Prieto Groft has studied abroad in Rome at JCU multiple times in the past. She now teaches literature and writing at Arizona State University. Her first novel Girl, Unemployed is forthcoming in spring 2025.
