Department of Mathematics, Natural, and Applied Sciences

The Department of Mathematics, Natural, and Applied Sciences is dedicated to actively helping students learn to better understand science and mathematics, and even more importantly, discover their significance for the world we live in.

Our Department offers courses to support John Cabot University's general education requirement as well as the University's majors in Business Administration, Marketing, and Economics and Finance. To better fulfill our commitment to support JCU's requirement of proficiency in mathematics, the Department also hosts a Math Tutoring Lab that assists students with quantitative material related to their studies.

Our faculty hold doctorate degrees in Mathematics, Physics, Environmental Science, and Computer Science from prestigious American and European universities. Bringing their research experience into the classroom in a meaningful way, our professors expose students to current scientific debates, the history of mathematics, and the role these fields have played and continue to play in the evolution of our world.
