Please note that you must decide at the beginning of your college career whether your billing currency will be euros or dollars. You will be billed in the same currency for the entire time that you attend JCU.
The Extended Housing Contract is available exclusively to degree-seeking students seeking continuous accommodation in JCU Housing from Fall through Spring (late August-early May) without needing to move between semesters. Students approved for this option remain in the same apartment until the end of the Spring semester.
To secure housing, students must submit a completed Fall application along with deposits for both Fall and Spring ($ 2,000) by the Fall application deadline. The remaining Fall balance and the Winter Break housing fee are due by the Fall Full Payment deadline (July 15). The Winter Break housing fee is required to apply for the Extended Housing Contract option. The remaining Spring balance must be paid by the Spring Full Payment deadline (November 30).

Only students who are US citizens residing in the United States, permanent residents of the United States or Canadian citizens pay in USD; citizens and residents of other countries will pay tuition and fees in EUR according to the schedules posted on the Tuition and Fees.
Neighborhood Apartments option becomes available only if Gianicolo Residence, Lungara Apartments, and Trastevere Apartments reach full capacity. Please note that submitting the payment for a preferred housing option does not guarantee that students will be placed in their desired location. The students will be notified prior to the full payment deadline.
