Michèle holds a D.Phil. and M.Phil from Oxford University in International Relations and a B.A. from Brown University in History and French.  At John Cabot she teaches Business Communication and Public Relations and is Director for Italian Admissions. She also consults for and collaborates with private companies on communications and media projects.

After her studies, Michèle began a management consulting career with Monitor Company, the strategy consulting company of Harvard Business School’s strategy guru Michael Porter. She was based in Milan and worked throughout Europe in the travel, food, engineering and plastics industries.  She was Recruiting Director for the Milan Office.

Michèle then spent ten years at ENI, Italy’s oil and gas company, in various communications and media roles. Her experience included work on ENI’s privatization campaigns.  Her most recent position was Head of Foreign Media.

She transitioned to academics and private consulting when she became a mother.
