Interfaith Alliance
Who We Are
The JCU Interfaith Alliance is a community of students interested in questions of religious meaning and identity, and interfaith dialogue in a pluralist world. The Interfaith Alliance aims to deepen JCU’s rich multicultural orientation, while addressing the issues and opportunities arising out of religious diversity. The Interfaith Alliance welcomes all views and aims to foster an environment of pluralism and tolerance based on the commitment to the liberal principles of discussion, autonomy, and respect. This commitment proceeds on the assumption that every individual has the right to explore, embrace, and express religious truths in accordance with their conscience and understanding.
Our Mission
The goal of the Interfaith Alliance is to engage students with the rich religious diversity of the JCU community and the city of Rome through informal dialogue, structured discussion, off-campus visits, invited speakers and other events and activities, meditation practice, and community service.
