Religious Life and Multiculturalism

Our Mission

Religious Life at JCU

As a nonsectarian university, JCU strives to enable our community to appreciate, respect, and contribute to its multicultural richness and diversity.

The Office of Religious Life serves as a resource to the entire community of all backgrounds, to help foster understanding and engagement around religion and spirituality.

The Office of Religious Life can:

  • Connect you with a place of worship;
  • Connect you to a friendly chaplain;
  • Connect you to faith-based service opportunities;
  • Organize interfaith events.

The Meditation Garden

The Meditation Garden at John Cabot University was created through collaboration between the Interfaith Initiative, Student Government, and student groups. Proposed by students in 2013, it addresses the need for a shared space for meditation and reflection. Located next to the Administrative Office in the Kushlan Wing of Guarini Campus, the garden is open during business hours and promotes reflection and inclusivity.

Multiculturalism

John Cabot University welcomes students from over 70 different countries. The Office of Community Service, Religious Life and Multiculturalism serves as support to events promoting culture, diversity and inclusion.
