JCU Weekend of Startups
Do you have a fresh idea for improving how we fund, create, share and enjoy Art, Beauty, and Culture?
Under the patronage of Zetema Progetto Cultura and Associazione Nazionale Giovani Innovatori, John Cabot University is proud to invite you to participate in the JCU Weekend of Startups - Art Beauty Culture, on November 9-10-11, 2018.
Here’s your opportunity to turn your ideas into action in just one weekend. Put together a team with other technologists, artists, musicians, art historians, entrepreneurs, designers, developers and product experts to find and create real solutions to the art world's most pressing challenges.
Where and when
The first European Weekend of Startups focusing on Art Beauty Culture will be held in Rome, on the 9th, 10th, and 11th November 2018. The event will take place at John Cabot University in Trastevere, right in the heart of the Eternal City. (JCU Guarini Campus, 233 Via della Lungara, Rome 00165)
Your idea matters
Join a diverse group of people passionate about the arts and innovation and – just like you – want to make an impact. On Friday afternoon you can pitch your idea or just listen to others to form your team. Then you’ll take this idea and RUN! Think business model and prototype creation, coding, designing, and market validation. You’ll receive lots of mentoring and coaching from experienced entrepreneurs, and maybe even start a new company. You’ll need plenty of energy and a team player attitude to excel throughout the weekend which culminates with presentations in front of local entrepreneurial leaders in the art world for great team prizes! Bring your laptop too!
