JCU's B.A. in Marketing curriculum offers a comprehensive overview of business and marketing principles. The University requires an overall minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.00 in all courses taken and no more than two grades lower than C- in core courses required for the major.

Your final challenge in the marketing program will be the capstone course, Strategic Marketing Management. You will apply the principles and techniques developed from earlier core courses and develop a comprehensive marketing plan.
D. Major Electives
Four upper-division (300- or 400-level) courses to be chosen as follows:
- Two upper-division MKT courses
- One upper-division ACCT/BUS/EC/FIN/MGT/MKT. This course may be substituted with BUS 220, CS 160, or CS 320
- One upper-division ACCT/BUS/COM/CMS/DMA/EC/FIN/MGT/MKT/PS. This course may be substituted with COM 111 or MA 198.
E. General Electives sufficient to give a total of 120 credits.
Requirements for the Degree
All JCU undergraduates must complete general as well as Departmental curriculum requirements, which are outlined below.
Please note: Following the recent revision of the Marketing Major, the course MKT 301 Principles of Marketing now requires the following prerequisites (MA 208 Statistics and MGT 301 Principles of Management). However, as a transitional measure, students enrolled in the B.A. Marketing [as of Fall 2016] will be eligible to register for MKT 301 Principles of Marketing with the previous prerequisites (MA 208 Statistics and EC 201 Microeconomics).

Experience two iconic cities and develop a truly international perspective on global business and marketing. JCU partners with New York's Pace University Lubin School of Business to offer a B.A. in Marketing and a Bachelor of Business Arts (B.B.A.) in Global Marketing Management dual degree program. You'll spend the first two years of your college experience in Rome at JCU, then head to New York City for a year of learning at Pace, a leading AASCB-accredited business school located in the Financial District near Wall Street. Finally, you'll return to Rome to finish your final semester and capstone course.
