Hometown: Falmouth, Massachusetts (USA)
I discovered JCU by chance, and I immediately knew it was the perfect fit for me. I come from a small town on Cape Cod, where I have always cherished my close-knit environment. Although I was hesitant to move across the world alone with no prior experience, I found support from the wonderful representatives of JCU, who embody individuality within a united community. I am focused on creating connections that extend beyond textbooks, which makes JCU the perfect place to study, being located in the heart of a layered and ever-evolving city. What I enjoy most about my studies is the research, whether I’m immersing myself in the extensive library on campus or exploring the city. If you see yourself as an “eternal learner,” constantly seeking knowledge fostering lifelong connections, then JCU is the right place for you!
Hometown: Tegucigalpa, Honduras
I've always dreamed of studying abroad for my college experience. My sister attended JCU and she played a big role in motivating me to choose this University, and I’m incredibly grateful to have found it. It has broadened my worldview and allowed me to learn about a wide range of cultures and experiences. What truly sets JCU apart is its diverse international environment and strong emphasis on academic excellence. Studying here has been a transformative journey, allowing me to pursue my passion in a beautiful and inspiring city.
Hometown: Naples, Italy
I was born and raised in Southern Italy in a Cuban household, thus experiencing a multicultural environment from a young age. Throughout my academic career, I have participated in various MUNs that allowed me to travel both in Europe and the US. Thanks to this experience and my background, I knew I wanted to study International Affairs in a multicultural environment. JCU was the perfect fit for me, both on an academic and personal level. It has been the perfect place to grow, and it also allowed me to pursue my second passion: Gender Studies.
Hometown: Dallas, Texas (USA)
I always knew I wanted to spend my life traveling the world, so when I discovered JCU, I immediately applied knowing I would get both the education and travel experience I was searching for. Every year, I look forward to all the new places I will see, memories I will make, and things I will learn while being abroad during some of my most formative years.
Hometown: New, York, New York (USA)
Coming from the culturally diverse environment of NYC, I have always been drawn towards studying abroad, one day. I come from Italian-American parents, which made JCU the perfect fit for me. If you are searching for a school with an engaging and multicultural environment where you can meet peers from around the globe, while studying in one of the most historical and beautiful cities of the world, then JCU is the place for you!
Hometown: McAllen, Texas (USA)
I’m Mexican with a sparkle of Spanish heritage, but I have lived in the U.S. my whole life until I moved to Paris when I was 17. There I fell in love with Europe and knew I wanted to stay. JCU was the perfect choice for me because it allowed me to be in an international environment while still pursuing my academic goals. I’m studying Communications with a minor in Art and Design, and I can’t wait to help you with your future endeavours!
Hometown: Rome, Italy and Sydney, Australia
I’m Italian and Syrian, but I have lived extensively in the U.S. and Australia. I’ve been exposed to quite an international environment my whole life, both personally and educationally. I remember walking around Trastevere as a kid and wondering what it would be like to study at JCU. It was the perfect fit for me because it let me reconnect to my roots in such a global community, and earn an American degree. I am proud to represent JCU, and look forward to being there for all new and existing students!
Hometown: Rome, Italy
I grew up in Rome in a bilingual household, with my mother passing on her love for the English language after living in the U.S. for many years. Choosing John Cabot University was a natural progression of that. With one of the top business schools, it provides the ideal setting to pursue a degree in International Business, while engaging with a diverse global community. Studying here allows me to grow both academically and personally, preparing me to thrive in an international and ever-evolving world.
