Alison Ladd

Alison Ladd - Art History/Art and Design/Humanistic Studies (Class of 2026)

Hometown: Falmouth, Massachusetts (USA)
I discovered JCU by chance, and I immediately knew it was the perfect fit for me. I come from a small town on Cape Cod, where I have always cherished my close-knit environment. Although I was hesitant to move across the world alone with no prior experience, I found support from the wonderful representatives of JCU, who embody individuality within a united community. I am focused on creating connections that extend beyond textbooks, which makes JCU the perfect place to study, being located in the heart of a layered and ever-evolving city. What I enjoy most about my studies is the research, whether I’m immersing myself in the extensive library on campus or exploring the city. If you see yourself as an “eternal learner,” constantly seeking knowledge fostering lifelong connections, then JCU is the right place for you!

Fabiana Vivolo

Fabiana Vivolo – Business Administration/Legal Studies (Class of 2027)

Hometown: Orlando, Florida (USA)
I was born in Caracas, Venezuela and raised in the United States. My life’s been shaped by the dance between two cultures. At home, I held onto my roots while outside, I learned to adapt. That contrast did not confuse me, but It sparked my curiosity. I realized early on that each person walks through life carrying their own story, their own experiences, and the things they hold dear. I have always been drawn to that kind of richness, and that is what makes JCU so exciting. The University brings the world to one campus, so if you are someone who loves that kind of energy and vibe, you will feel at home here at John Cabot.

Through the University, I have been involved in clubs, I was selected for an amazing internship last year, and I am currently a site leader for the Community Service Office.
