Virtual Admitted Students Day
John Cabot University’s 2020 Admitted Students Day was a chance for the incoming class to get a feel of what the JCU community is all about. Through the power of online video chats, John Cabot was able to hold a Zoom meeting with a total of 79 students joining from countries across the world. Although COVID-19 prevented the JCU community from being physically together, the 2020 Admitted Students Day was a great virtual representation of the diversity and ingenuity of John Cabot University’s students and staff.
The two-hour session included remarks by John Cabot University's President Franco Pavoncello, Director of Admissions Arianna Catti De Gasperi, and Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs, professor Pamela Harris, who touched upon the importance of keeping international education at the forefront of our thoughts and banding together as a community. Throughout the meeting, participants were able to ask questions about student life, how to get around the city, and what the typical student budget is. In addition, students were able to view the campus through an online tour where they could imagine themselves walking the famous cobblestone streets of Rome to and from classes.
The John Cabot University community looks forward to welcoming students on campus this Fall!
