Transcripts

Transcripts, both official and unofficial, will not be accessible to anyone whose records have been blocked due to holds. Should transcripts be withheld due to one or more reasons, it is the responsibility of the student to contact the appropriate department to clear the account.


Unofficial Transcripts

Students can download an unofficial copy of their transcripts from the Online Registration System, available under the Grades tab. If you have forgotten your User ID or password, please send an email to transcripts@johncabot.edu
 

Official Transcripts

These transcripts are the official record of your coursework and academic progress at John Cabot University. The transcript is printed on blue paper with the name of the institution appearing over the entire document.

Electronic Transcripts

Electronic transcripts are available for students who attended John Cabot University after 2003.  If you attended John Cabot before 2003, you can only request a paper transcript. 

Electronic transcripts are provided through Parchment Exchange, which provides you with the ability to request transcripts through the Secure Transcript system. Transcripts are sent securely to the colleges, universities, or scholarship funds that you select. You may track your request online, and you will also receive an email notification when your transcript request is approved and sent.

Electronic transcripts cost 8€/$8 each. Payment is made through Parchment Exchange, which employs the same Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology that powers today's online banking solutions.

Paper Transcripts

In order to request a paper transcript, please print and submit an Official Transcript Request Form.

There is a €10/$10 fee per paper transcript. 

Shipping Methods for Paper Transcripts

Express shipping:  Official transcripts may be sent out via UPS express mail for a fee of €20/$20. This shipping preference should be indicated on the Official Transcript Request Form. Transcripts sent by UPS arrive within 5 business days once the UPS payment has been received. 

Regular mail:  It may take up to 25 business days for transcripts to arrive via regular airmail.  *JCU is not responsible for transcripts lost in the mail.*

Pick up in person:  Transcripts can be picked up in person in the Registrar’s Office, Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. 
 

Transcript Processing Time

Transcripts are typically sent within two business days of receiving the transcript request and payment.  Processing time may increase at the end of each semester due to the high number of transcript requests.  Please plan your transcript requests accordingly.
