JCU's Political Science program offers a core curriculum focused on world politics, political theory, and comparative politics and leaves to you great freedom to shape your educational path by selecting major electives in areas such as Italian Politics or American Government, area studies, European affairs, human rights and humanitarian action, and more. Through this hands-on, focused curriculum, you’ll not only study politics but you’ll be equipped with the relevant skills necessary to become a global leader.

The Political Science curriculum analyzes the dynamics shaping contemporary politics on a global scale. Our program provides an interdisciplinary and trans-disciplinary approach, combining elements of politics, international relations, history, economics, sociology and law to better understand how public policies shape our societies.
