Valentina Dorato teaches Italian Language and Culture at John Cabot University and in other American programs in Rome. She holds a Laurea in Humanistic Studies (Sapienza University of Rome), a Master In Italian as a Second Language (University of Roma Tre), and a PhD in Communication, Social Sciences, and Marketing from Sapienza University of Rome. She started teaching at JCU in 2004.
Her research and interests include innovative teaching methods, the use of music in teaching a foreign language, and how food reflects cultures.
