Bio

Tom Bailey studied philosophy at Oxford, Warwick, and Pisa and has taught at JCU since 2007. He has worked on Kant, Nietzsche, and Nietzsche’s relation to Kant, the place of religion in democratic politics, and global justice. He is currently exploring topics in the philosophy of love, food justice, and business ethics. He teaches courses in political philosophy, ethics, and business ethics, introductory, modern, and contemporary philosophy, the philosophy of art, the philosophy of love, and humanities research methods.
