Internships at JCU

How to Apply

You can apply for an internship opportunity both as a visiting or a degree seeking student at JCU. Learn more about the application process. Degree seeking students can either apply for a For-Credit internship or a Not-For-Credit internship.

If you're a degree seeking student, we advise you to check your emails! We regularly circulate positions related to your field of studies, directly to your JCU email account. You can also access the available positions on Jobiri.

Application Process

  • Study Abroad: send your cover letter and resume/CV to the Center for Career Services (one application every 24 hours, multiple applications will not be processed)
  • Degree-Seekers: send your application through the virtual coach, Jobiri (one application every 24 hours, multiple applications will not be processed)
  • The resume and cover letter are always revised and then sent to the company/organization
  • If the application is successful, the applicant is contacted for an interview
  • If the candidate is selected, we offer our assistance with the necessary documents and procedures for the internship.

All applications must go through the Center for Career Services. Should the student apply directly to the partner company/organization, JCU will not be able to take care of the necessary paperwork and insurance activation.
