The Center for Career Services is committed to helping students prepare for successful careers through a variety of engaging workshops, webinars, and events. Whether you’re just starting to build your resume, exploring new career paths, or honing your interview skills, we offer tailored opportunities to guide you every step of the way. Our events are designed to equip you with the tools, knowledge, and connections needed to excel in today’s competitive job market.

Apart from the Career Fairs, we regurlarly host the following events:

• Webinars: 45-minute online sessions designed to offer you expert career advice and tips on enhancing your professional profiles.
• Pizza Workshops: 45-minute interactive sessions where you receive career advice, job market insights, and profile-boosting tips — all while enjoying free pizza.
• Company Visits: these visits offer you the chance to liaise with senior staff and gain insights into industry dynamics and workplace culture.
• Skills Accelerator Day: get in contact with alumni and experts in their field to hear about their career journey.

For Company Visits, participation is competitive. Students are selected according to their proven leadership/interest in the field (as reflected in the resume provided by the student); one-page motivation letter, explaining why the visit is important to the student's personal, professional and academic growth. Please, note that applications must be submitted via the link provided for each Company Visit.

Whether you're a Freshman, a Graduating Senior, or an Alumnus, the JCU Career Fair is your launchpad to future success. Organized twice a year, this event is designed to connect you with top employers, inspire your career path, and help you take the next step forward.

JCU's Career Fairs are open to all students and alumni, and take place on campus twice a year. You'll have the opportunity to interview with leading organizations to land job and internship opportunities, hear from inspiring speakers to discover valuable career insights and tips through expert talks and networking lunches, and also have your professional headshot taken at our photo booth to capture your best look.

Spring 2025 Highlights

The Spring 2025 Career Fair featured leading organizations offering interviews in fields such as hospitality, defense/aerospace, international affairs, tech, sustainable food systems, media, and more. In addition, we hosted 6 expert talks led by industry professionals who shared valuable advice and success stories.
