Situated in Via della Lungara 233, the Guarini campus hosts the Aula Magna Regina auditorium as well as the Frohring Library, one of Italy's most comprehensive English language libraries. The Guarini campus also hosts numerous study rooms, media production facilities, a meditation garden, as well as JCU administrative offices.
JCU's Frohring Campus is located in Lungotevere Raffaello Sanzio 12, on the banks of Rome's famous Tiber river and a five-minute walk from Guarini. In addition to classrooms, the campus houses offices such as Student Engagement and Immigration Services. It is also home to John Cabot University's cafeteria, the Tiber Cafe, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and offers various meal plan options.
The Caroline Critelli Guarini Campus, situated in Piazza Giuseppe Gioachino Belli 11, is the first property owned by John Cabot University and it hosts classrooms, administrative offices, and a classroom that can be used for physics and basic electrical engineering courses. It was named for Caroline Critelli Guarini (1900-2001), mother of the Hon. Frank J. Guarini, Chair Emeritus of the JCU Board of Trustees and generous benefactor of the University.
The Pavoncello Campus, located in Lungotevere Raffaele Sanzio 11, has state-of-the-art studios for printmaking, painting, design, and photography. It is equipped with specialized facilities, including a lighting studio, a darkroom, and a MAC lab with industry-standard software. It also houses the Dean of Students and Health and Wellbeing offices, a screening room, and the Melograno coffee shop with indoor and outdoor seating space. It will soon house an experimental psychology lab.
The building hosting the Center for Graduate Studies, located in Via della Lungara 231, dates back to 1495. It was built as a home for Cardinal Alessandro Farnese, the future Pope Paul III. In the first half of the 19th century, it passed on to the powerful Bourbon family. Since 1934 it has been part of the adjacent Accademia dei Lincei, the oldest academy in the world dedicated to the study of the humanities and natural sciences. Galileo Galilei, Enrico Fermi, and Vito Volterra were among its members.
Il Foglio is a dynamic open space where students come together with professors and staff to collaborate and engage in activities that enhance their academic skills across disciplines. Located on Lungotevere Sanzio 9, it hosts the Math Tutoring Center, the Writing Center, the Foreign Language Resource Center, the Institute for Entrepreneurship, the School of Business, and the Math Faculty Office.
The Media Production Facilities, located in the Guarini Campus, support a wide range of audio and video production activities, from screenwriting through principal photography and onward to editing, visual effects, and musical composition. Students, faculty, and staff make use of Panasonic camcorders and Canon cameras, Tascam and Zoom audio recorders, and Rode microphones in order to create beautiful images and immersive soundscapes.
Trastevere Art Studios, located in Via Benaglia 13, are located a short walk from the Critelli Campus and provide flexible, well-equipped spaces that support advanced artistic production and experimentation. The facilities include Mac Labs with industry-standard software, print facilities, digital fabrication resources such as laser cutting, 3D printing, 3D scanners and vacuum forming, as well as expansive studio space suitable for a wide range of three-dimensional processes. The studios also offer dedicated areas for advanced courses, including dedicated space for senior students preparing their capstone projects and exhibitions.
