Why Give to JCU: Three Reasons
1. Be part of a growing and international community
JCU was founded over 40 years ago, and now has expanded to include two main campuses that accommodate a multicultural student body of over 60 nationalities. In 2014, the University had its largest graduating class to date, with over 120 graduates - making JCU the largest undergraduate American university in Italy. John Cabot University invites everyone who believes in our mission -- to provide an educational experience firmly rooted in the American tradition of the liberal arts and solidly international in orientation -- to become a part of our community.
2. Help Support the Leaders of Tomorrow
John Cabot University’s academic programs produce graduates who are sought after by and who are successful in the international communities of business, public service, and academe. These graduates aspire to the highest ideals of professional and personal achievement, and motivate a similar dedication to excellence in their colleagues. We do not just believe in diversity, we embody it. JCU enables students to appreciate, benefit from, and contribute to the richness and diversity of other cultures. This solid foundation cultivates leaders who will accept responsibility and make positive contributions to an increasingly interdependent and multicultural world.
3. Make an impact
Every gift makes a difference and has an impact on the university. Small in classroom sizes but not in ambition, JCU supports a modern approach to international education, combining the extraordinary cultural resources of Rome with the prestige of an American degree. Students do not just study abroad, they LIVE abroad. Graduates take the knowledge they have acquired in the classroom and enter the workforce with leading multinational firms, international organizations, and government agencies. Those who choose to continue their studies attend some of the most prestigious graduate programs in the world.
Universities in the United States rely heavily on donations from their community of alumni and friends. John Cabot University is no different. We look to Trustees, alumni, parents, and friends of JCU to help bridge the gap between tuition revenue and the cost of a quality education.
John Cabot University is a non-profit organization registered in the United States, and all donations to the University are tax-deductible for U.S. tax payers.
