John Cabot University (JCU) invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position in Economics and Finance (Assistant or Associate level), to begin end of August 2026. The initial appointment is for two years, with possibility of renewal.
We seek candidates with a Ph.D. in Economics or Finance who have demonstrated excellence in teaching and research and a commitment to institutional and community service. The subfield is open, with a preference for candidates with expertise in finance, macroeconomics, financial institutions, and capital markets. The ideal candidate should have familiarity and experience with the American liberal arts educational tradition and be prepared to teach introductory courses as well as courses in their area of expertise. The teaching load is three courses per semester. Candidates are expected to be fluent in English, which is the language of instruction, and to have valid EU working documents in Italy.

John Cabot University, a regionally accredited American liberal arts university in Rome, Italy, is seeking an Art and Design Studios Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of its Studio Art facilities.
The Studio Assistant will oversee the physical condition, security, and safety of the studios and offices, coordinate with cleaning, maintenance, and other JCU staff to ensure necessary supplies are available, and maintain facilities and equipment to best support the work of students and instructors. While this is not a teaching position, the ideal candidate should be able to assist students with technical queries related to their studio practice.
This position would suit a recent graduate in Art and Design or an individual with equivalent professional experience in an art-related environment, possessing demonstrable practical skills and strong organizational abilities.
We currently have two positions open: one full-time and one part-time.
The full-time position (38 hours/week) is a one-year term contract with the possibility of renewal. Working hours include afternoons, evenings, and weekends: Tuesdays through Fridays until 9:00 PM and Saturdays until 7:00 PM.
The part-time position (20 hours/week) is a six-month term contract with the possibility of renewal. Working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
Both roles require on-site attendance and offer the possibility of renewal depending on organizational needs.
This position offers a gross annual salary between €22,500 and €24,000, depending on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
