Born in Rome, Stefano Iannone cultivated two primary passions from a young age: mathematics and basketball. After a 16-year career as a professional basketball player in Italy's Serie A, B, and C leagues, he channeled the same discipline and determination into academia. He was educated in both Italy and the United States, earning a degree in Applied Mathematics from San Francisco State University and a Master's in Cryptology from the University of Tor Vergata in Rome.
Professor Iannone has been teaching at John Cabot University since 2009. In addition to teaching, he enjoys writing about mathematics and demonstrating its presence in our daily lives.
