Professor Gazziano is currently head of the technology transfer project office at ENEA, a large Italian scientific research institution. Previously, he was a senior assistant to the CEO of ENEA. Consultant to industrial associations, international organizations, public entities, and private companies. Significant steps in career include: head of IT services; project manager of large ICT research projects in domestic and international environments; advisor on e-business and ICT policy making to governments, international organizations, public entities, and industries, particularly small and medium enterprises. Extensive academic experience in international research projects in the UK, Spain, Greece, Egypt, Argentina, Paraguay, and Cuba. He has particular experience in the agro-environmental and oil industries. He has been teaching at JCU since 1999.
