Professor Keijsers joined JCU in 2021. She earned her BA in Social Psychology with a minor in Youth Criminology, an M.A. in Social & Health Psychology, and another MA in Methodology and Statistics from Utrecht University. She also earned a PhD in Social Robotics from the University of Canterbury. In between, she collaborated on research projects on teenage motherhood, the use of big data in education, and the use of VR and vaping in anti-smoking campaigns.
