Martina Di Cioccio, who joined JCU in 2026, is a marketing scholar whose research focuses on three main areas: social media marketing, sustainable consumer behavior, and artificial intelligence.
She primarily adopts experimental methods to investigate the psychological mechanisms underlying consumer judgments and behaviors. Her research also integrates quantitative analyses of large-scale secondary datasets, particularly data collected from social media platforms, to examine marketing phenomena in real-world settings.
Her work has been published in established international marketing journals, including Psychology & Marketing and the Journal of Business Research. Through her research, she aims to contribute to a deeper understanding of how technological, ethical, and sustainability-related transformations are reshaping consumer behavior and marketing communication.
