Marie Moise holds a BA in History from the University of Milan, an MA in Gender Studies from the University of Paris 7, and a PhD in Political Philosophy from the University of Padua and Toulouse 2. She joined JCU in 2024. Her research focuses on the intersectionality of gender, race, class and political subjectivation. Haitian-Italian, she's an activist in antiracist and decolonial grassroots projects. She has co-authored several collections of feminist and afrofeminist essays and short stories.
