Working at the intersection between photography and other media, Ilaria Ortensi creates images that viewers are encouraged to question. Professor Ortensi's work has been featured in group exhibitions throughout the US, as well as in London, Berlin, and Italy. In New York, it has been showcased at numerous venues, including The Jewish Museum, Fisher Landau Center for Art, and Judith Charles Gallery.
Born in Italy in 1982, Professor Ortensi earned her M.F.A. from Columbia University and was part of the Hercules Art Studio Program in New York from 2016 to 2021.
