Professor Jakobsone Bellomi has more than 10 years experience in economic and commercial public diplomacy in the Baltic States, Russia, United Kingdom and China, consulting and working with companies like Hilton, Morgan Crucibles, B&Q, Hainan Group, China International Capital Corporation, Sinotrans, DbSchenker, Alibaba, and associations like UK Trade and Investment, China Entrepreneurs Club, Horasis, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Hong Kong Trade Development Council, and others. Professor Jakobsone was one of the early key public policy experts promoting China’s One Belt One Road initiatives in the Eastern and Central European countries. She joined JCU in 2017.
She also has more than 5 years of corporate experience working for the British FTSE 250 companies in London in the field of international business analysis, corporate strategy, and change management. Currently, she serves as a non-executive director at CYPE Investment Consulting Co (Beijing), residing in Europe and consulting Chinese companies on the European markets. Professor Jakobsone is passionate about the cross-cultural communication challenges for companies operating in the global markets.
Professor Jakobsone Bellomi is a certified EU lawyer (2002), has obtained an MBA with the international management certification (market focus: China and Japan) and corporate finance concentration from Boston University, USA (2007), and a finance and accounting diploma from London School of Economics and Political Science, the United Kingdom (2008).
Professor Jakobsone Bellomi is teaching International Business, Principles of Management, and Organizational Behavior.
