Faynette S. Herndon is a US Admissions Counselor for John Cabot University, working alongside JCU’s US-based recruitment team to help students discover international education opportunities and explore the possibility of studying beyond their home country. Growing up between Nicaragua and Texas, she developed an early appreciation for different cultures and perspectives, which ultimately led her to pursue her undergraduate education in Rome. She graduated from John Cabot University with a BA in International Affairs, before returning to the United States to earn her MS from Boston University.
In her role at JCU, Faynette works with prospective students and families across the Northeastern United States, helping them navigate the college search and admissions process. Having experienced JCU firsthand as a student, she brings a personal perspective to her work and is passionate about encouraging students to step outside their comfort zones, embrace new experiences, and discover the many opportunities that come with an international education.
