Bio

In addition to teaching at John Cabot University in Rome, Alberto Lo Pinto also teaches for the Rome Program of Dartmouth University and of the University of Notre Dame. He holds a Ph.D. in Italian Studies from the University of Notre Dame, and has held postdoctoral positions at the same institution and at the Bibliotheca Hertziana – Max Planck Institute for Art History in Rome. His research interests include post-war Italian cinema, with a focus on the representation of urban space and architecture. His current research project investigates the film culture of the Roman scene of the 1970s and 1980s.
