The Business Administration minor equips students from any major with essential knowledge and practical skills to succeed in the workplace and grow professionally.
The Minor in Business Administration is designed to provide students of any major with the knowledge and skills that will serve them in the world of work and help them advance their careers.
Students will be equipped with skills that will allow them to compete globally, by means of understanding the main driving forces in the contemporary world of business, having an awareness of the role of diversity and culture in the global business, being able to analyze and interpret different sources of information to facilitate business decision-making, and having excellent communication skills.
Six 200 level or above courses from the following prefixes: ACCT, BUS, FIN, LAW, MGT and/or MKT. Of these, a maximum of three (3) classes with the LAW prefix is permitted.
With approval of the Dean and Department Chair, one of the six courses may be substituted by an internship related to business administration.
