Overview

Marketing is not only an important aspect in business but is instrumental in building expertise and skills in students who come from different non-business related backgrounds. Marketing is particularly useful for students because it contributes to understanding and enhancing long-term relationships with the organization’s stakeholders. Stakeholders may encompass the organization’s donors, final users, and suppliers. Many non-corporate organizations are adopting a more managerial/business approach where the concepts of marketing and customer relationships are increasingly employed.

Marketing contributes to understanding how to behave and implement strategies for the client and how to communicate more effectively the organization’s broader marketing offer. Marketing is the most demanded field in the work environment, a Minor in Marketing will undoubtedly offer the students the opportunity to acquire a more professional and highly demanded expertise.
