Tuition and Housing


Tuition and fees for the full MA program (three semesters of full-time study) will be: 

  • USD 21,000 – for U.S. citizens, permanent residents of the United States, or Canadian citizens
  • EUR 19,000 – for citizens of countries other than the United States or Canada

Outstanding applicants will be considered for fellowships and other forms of financial support.

John Cabot University assists students admitted to the program in finding suitable housing in Rome. The cost of housing is not included in the tuition for the degree. Please note, the spaces are limited. Students can enter preferred housing options on the housing application; however, the actual placement may vary based on the availability and the date of submission. (*) ONLY students who are US citizens residing in the United States, permanent residents of the United States or Canadian citizens pay in USD; citizens and residents of other countries will pay tuition and fees in EUR according to the schedules posted on the Tuition and Fees section.
(**) Summer Housing options include Gianicolo and Lungara based on availability.  Students are notified of housing placement before arrival.


The non-refundable deposit is due at the time of the Housing application. For students receiving financial aid, contact provider(s) to arrange billing and payment with the Housing office. The deposit will count towards the full Housing fee and must be paid in full by the payment deadline, and before moving into the assigned unit. All payments submitted after the due dates will have a USD$/EUR€ 150 late fee applied to them. For further information please contact [email protected]
