Dr. Cornelia Lauf is an art historian and curator with thirty years of experience producing and publishing projects with living artists. She previously taught at JCU from 2003 to 2008. She has worked extensively on the relation between art, craft, and agriculture, and on preserving the ancient in a contemporary key. Her exhibitions have been featured at the Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland; Harvard University; The New Museum, New York; Casa di Goethe, Weimar/Rome; MAXXI, Rome; The Drawing Center, New York; The Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago; SALT, Istanbul; and many others.
