Adrian Stoian is an Associate Professor of Economics at John Cabot University. He holds a PhD in Economics from University of Arizona (2008), an M.A. in Economics from Clemson University (2003) and a B.A. in Finance and Banking from Babes Bolyai University, Romania (1997). He has extensive teaching experience having taught undergraduate and graduate level courses as diverse as Principles of Economics, Managerial Economics, Business Statistics, Econometrics, International Economics, Research Methods at six different academic institutions both in the U.S. and internationally.
He has research interests in applied microeconomics, in the fields of experimental economics, economic history, labor economics. His papers appeared in prestigious outlets such as Experimental Economics, Explorations in Economic History, National Bureau of Economic Research Working Paper Series. He has presented his research at numerous top international conferences, has been actively involved in refereeing and discussing other papers and has extensive experience mentoring and advising both undergraduate and graduate students. He also has private sector experience as he worked for insurance and brokerage companies.
