Martina Caruso is an art historian, writer and curator. Since completing her PhD at the Courtauld Institute of Art she has developed research interests in the history and theory of photography as well as modern and contemporary Italian art. She also teaches at London College of Communication (University of the Arts London) and works as an art consultant for the Giulio Turcato Archives in Rome. Her book Italian Humanist Photography from Fascism to the Cold War will be published by Bloomsbury in 2016.
