The Master's program in Luxury Management and Customer Experience – Italian Excellence is a full-time 12-month course, at the end of which you’ll get an Italian Master diploma (Master di I livello) from Politecnico di Milano, and a Professional and Continuing Education Certificate from JCU.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
The ideal candidate:
- Has strong leadership and managerial potential
- Is open to learning and exploring a variety of luxury industry business areas, with a special focus on Italian Luxury environment & Customer Experience
- Holds a 3- or 4-year bachelor’s degree, or recognised equivalent from an accredited institution, in any discipline
Please, note that this program is designed for recent graduates with ideally no more than 3 years of work experience.

At the end of the program, participants will be able to apply the key principles of value creation in luxury and service excellence, within or outside the luxury sector.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
The goal of the program is to provide young professionals with the various technical and managerial skills that are needed today to operate in the luxury sector. The program aims to shape future professionals in the world of hospitality, jewelry and other luxury sectors, with a particular focus on the Luxury Customer Experience and Italian Excellence. Moreover, participants will learn how to help businesses develop and manage skills to stand out in the luxury field. Success in this environment requires specific skills that are rarely covered by traditional programs in general management.
LEARNING JOURNEY
This program offers a concentrated and specialised learning experience, which is also
highly customised. The learning by doing approach ensure a strong interaction inside and outside classes, and offers the opportunity
to actually apply what has been learned. It is organized in 4 pillars:
- Luxury Industry and Managing Excellence in Value Chain
- Luxury Branding and Communication
- Italian Excellence and the Italian Touch: Creating the Finest Customer Experience
- Project Work/Internship
WHEN
The program is a 12-month Master's program in English. The first month of General Management will be delivered online, followed by six months of classes in Rome. During and after classes, students will have the opportunity to apply their acquired
knowledge through practical activities.

The JCU Center for Career Services is dedicated to helping students and alumni successfully prepare for the workforce,
and aims to promote career development, facilitating business networking. This Center
offers internship/job opportunities to students and alumni, with the possibility to
set up individual meetings for career counseling and orientation.
Career Services network of 750+ partner companies ensures a close connection with the professional world, providing an up-to-date overview of the most current trends in the job market.
Each semester, the Center engages its network in talks, lectures and special classes hosted in classroom or online. The talks are open to all students and allow them to connect with alumni who are now professionals, representatives of partner companies, faculty and leading figures from the contemporary scene.
The strong synergy between academic and job-specific skills makes it possible to perfect managers who can grow professionally, while developing their work identity. For this reason, the Center provides individual and group support through counseling and guidance services.
From Spring 2023, the Center for Career Services will have a virtual career coach: JOBIRI is a job/career platform using artificial intelligence and available in English and Italian, with a wide range of benefits for our students and graduates.
Webinar and sessions are open to all students, allowing them to learn techniques and mechanisms for optimizing their professional profile, with topics ranging from soft skills needed by the job market to personal branding optimization via LinkedIn profile.
POLIMI GSOM CAREER DEVELOPMENT CENTER
POLIMI GSoM Career Development Center is an extended team of Career Consultants partnering with mentors, trainers, alumni
and headhunters, with the objective of developing Career Management Skills. The Career
Consultants design, constantly innovate and enrich the Career Development Programme,
offering Career Skills Development Workshops, Career Counselling and Networking Events
every year.
Thanks to POLIMI GSoM’s Career Development Programme, adopting an innovative and rigorous methodology, students will be guided through a structured development path. Starting from a self-assessment of their skills and an analysis of the job market, candidates will design a customised career strategy and an effective action plan, to turn their career aspirations into achievable goals. At the end of POLIMI GSoM's Career Development Programme, students will have developed a set of professional skills that enable them to be highly competitive in today’s job market, and become successful “Career Leaders”. Right from the start of the program, the Career Development Centre supports the candidates in increasing their brand and economic value, to enable them to pursue their managerial career at both national and international level. The Career Development Centre organises workshops with the main objective of supporting students in developing the necessary Career Management Skills to succeed in this complex and ever-changing competitive job market, such as personal branding skills, job interview skills, public speaking & presentation skills, and cross-cultural skills for working in international teams and organisations.
Thanks to FLEXA, a personalised and continuous learning digital platform designed for POLIMI GSoM students and alumni, the Career Development Centre offers innovative services:

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS & HOW TO APPLY
Application for the 2023 intake are open. Please, note that we process applications on a rolling basis, which means that they may close even before the deadlines. TUITION
The tuition fee is €16.000.
Tuition fee covers the entire duration of the program, but it doesn't include living
and travel expenses.
- For John Cabot University alumni, the tuition fee is €12.800.
- For candidates who have completed a Master of Science program at Politecnico di Milano in or after 2019, the tuition fee is €7.750
- A €1,500 reduction on the tuition fee (early-bird discount) is also available. The deadline to receive this discount is February 15th.
- Applicants for the 2023 intake can apply for POLIMI fee reductions, which are given out on a first-come first-served basis. Financial aid must be requested when submitting the application form – please, note that late requests for financial aid won’t be considered.

Our team will let you know if you have been selected for a Motivational Interview in English, which will take place online.
An e-mail will be sent to you with the final decision on your application; if the result is positive, you will also receive scholarship information (if you have applied for one).
After you receive the e-mail and the admission contract, our staff will ask you to confirm your participation in the program by paying the first instalment.
