I have been working with the Alberese Archaeological project since 2010. There is only one word to describe the project and the archaeological site: INCREDIBLE!!!!!
I was a student participant in 2010 and the following year an assisted supervisor. The site is amazing in archaeological terms, because this project helps us to understand the history of this area and how people lived here during the Roman period. I have seen the project develop and I can honestly say is that it couldn´t be better.
This has been the best opportunity to improve my skills as an archaeologist, thanks to the directors who teach you and have confidence in you. They encourage everyone to participate in the process: excavating, analyzing and explaining what you are doing and why. They are not only excellent archaeologist; they are incredible people and teachers who really care about the people that work with them.
The directors of the project gave me the opportunity to work with them, and my intention is to continue to do so for a long time.
