JCU Direct Exchange Programs

For Direct Exchange Programs, students pay JCU tuition and fees (inclusive of your existing scholarships) and attend one of the universities JCU has a Direct Exchange agreement with for one semester. Students are responsible for transportation, housing, and living expenses while abroad. Selection is competitive.

Deadline for application:

February 15th for the upcoming fall semester

October15th for the upcoming spring semester


Basic eligibility requirements:

• Sophomore standing (30 credits or more)

• Completion of 15 or more credits at JCU

• Completion of English Composition III (EN110) with a grade of B or higher before studying abroad

• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00
