Housing Request Form

Pay the housing deposit
Create a residential profile and indicate any requests for roommates
Look for a confirmation email from the housing office
Join our Facebook group – invitation included in your confirmation email
Before booking air travel:
Review the
earliest and latest move-in/out dates
Review airport pick-up hours of operation
Submit the
Arrival Information Form
(flight details, date and time)
Keep interacting within Facebook group searching for potential roommates
Review initial roommate requests: anyone to add or change?
Expect to receive our Welcome to JCU Housing Letter sent via email
Online check-in, done prior to arrival: submit housing contract (link included in welcome letter)

JCU Housing Policies and Regulations.
You will be responsible for these policies and regulations in JCU Housing.
Upon Arrival Check-in Flow
Clear customs and walk into the arrivals waiting area
Meet the JCU representatives and make your way, by foot, to the Hilton Rome Airport (7 minutes skywalk). Click

Make your way to JCU’s assigned conference room: ‘Salone Degli Imperatori’
Provide a CLEAR copy of passport and visa
Receive the keys to your assigned apartments
Receive apartment maps with directions
Be aware of your assigned time for the Mandatory Housing Workshop
Review your Resident Assistant’s Letter for the time and place of your mandatory meeting
Be shuttled to your assigned apartment
Review the conditions and provisions in your apartment and submit the provided ‘Housing Inventory Sheet’ to the Housing Office
Attend the Mandatory Housing Workshop
Attend the mandatory meeting with your assigned Resident Assistant
Discuss the Resident Agreement with your new roommates
Confirm yourself for your RA’s neighborhood tour for the following day – don’t make evening or travel plans during orientation weekend.
