Housing Move In & Out - Airport Arrival Information
IMPORTANT DATESHousing provided by JCU is available for occupancy on the move-in date indicated in the table below (please note that you may not move in earlier than this specified date). You are expected to vacate your room at the end of the term on the move-out date.
No housing will be available to students under any circumstances before or after the scheduled move-in/out dates. If you arrive before the move-in date, you must make your own private accommodation and transportation arrangements until your accommodations become available. If you are traveling with family or friends, please note that overnight guests are not allowed to stay in JCU housing with you.

TRANSPORTATION FROM FIUMICINO AIRPORT
For your convenience, JCU arranges a shuttle service for you between the Rome-Fiumicino Airport and your apartment (provided that you arrive on the move-in date(s) and have filled out and submitted the Arrival Information Form).
IMPORTANT NOTICE: The shuttle service will be reserved for you only between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. Please fill and submit the Arrival Information Form as soon as possible so that the Housing Office knows your exact arrival date and time and carrier. This information is essential so that we can arrange transportation for you to your accommodations. Shuttle transportation is only provided for students who comply with the arrival criteria stated in the Arrival Information Form. Families and friends may accompany you to JCU on the provided shuttles for a fee of euro 15 each. Advanced booking is required; please send an email to prearrival@johncabot.edu indicating:
- Your name
- Name(s) of other passenger(s)
- Relationship to you: e.g. mother, father, etc.
- Flight information: e.g. PW 345 Paris-Rome 12:30-14:15
VERY IMPORTANT: Should you arrive on another date from specified move-in dates, or if you have failed to submit your arrival information, or before 9 a.m. or after 7 p.m., for whatever reasons including flight delays, missed connections, lost luggage or any other reason, you must arrange your own transportation into Rome from the airport. JCU will not be responsible for reimbursing you the cost of this transportation.
