Application Procedures
Admission to John Cabot’s undergraduate program is based on a review of the following items:
Application Form:
A completed application form (either paper or online version), a personal statement of 1 page (personal description, life experiences and indication of how JCU’s academic programs fit in with your future plans), the Privacy Statement and a non-refundable Application Fee of $50/€50.
US Citizens and Canadians pay in US dollars while all other applicants pay in Euros.
Official Transcripts:
Official transcripts of all secondary and post-secondary school work to date are required. These transcripts must be mailed in a sealed envelope directly from the issuing institution when possible. If applying from a school system where official transcripts are not mailed, it is the student’s responsibility to present the original or authenticated copy of his/her academic documentation. Documents in languages other than English or Italian must be accompanied by a certified translation.
Letters of Recommendation: The University must receive either:
- A letter from an administrator or college counselor at the applicants last school or university summarizing the student’s experience there or,
- Two letters from recent teachers. Letters should comment on the applicant’s scholastic abilities and potential, character and contributions to extracurricular and community life.
Standardized Test Results:
Students attending or those who have attended American secondary schools whether in the US or abroad need to provide results of their SAT’s or ACT’s
